1. Installation of bearing seat: during the installation of split bearing bush, bearing seat and bearing cover, the back of bearing bush shall be in good contact with bearing seat hole. If it does not meet the requirements of bearing seat hole, the back of bearing bush shall be scraped and ground, and the split surface of bearing bush shall be 0.05 ~ 0.1mm higher than that of bearing seat.



2. The contact area between the back of the bearing and the bearing seat: the upper bush shall not be less than 40%, and the lower bush shall not be less than 50%. The contact area shall be uniform, and the gap between the bottom of the lower bush and both sides is not allowed. Once there is a gap between the two sides of the lower bush, the bearing bush will bear more pressure, which will lead to rapid wear. The contact spot between the bearing bush and the bearing seat should be 1-2 points / cm2, too little will cause the bearing bush to intensify wear, deformation and fracture.



3. Bearing and journal installation: when installing the bearing, pay attention to the indirect contact angle and contact point between the bearing bush and journal. The center angle of the contact surface between the bearing bush and the journal is called the contact angle. If the angle is too large, it will affect the formation of the lubricating oil film, destroy the lubrication effect, and make the bearing bush wear quickly; if it is too small, it will increase the pressure of the bearing bush, and also make the bearing bush wear more seriously. Generally, the contact angle is 60-90 degrees. The contact point between the bearing bush and the journal is related to the equipment load, 2-3 points / cm2 for medium load and continuous operation, and 3-4 points / cm2 for heavy load and high speed operation. Scraping is necessary to make the contact angle and contact spot meet the requirements. Scrape and grind the lower Bush first and then the upper bush. Apply a thin layer of red paint on the journal. Put the shaft on the Bush and rotate it in the positive and negative directions for one time before taking it off. Scrape and grind if uneven marks are found. The marks on the bush are uneven. Scrape and scrape repeatedly until the marks on the bush are evenly distributed and meet the requirements.



4. Pay attention to the adjustment of bearing clearance during installation, which is generally controlled at 1 / 1000 ~ 3 / 1000 of the shaft diameter. The specific optimization can be explored according to the equipment load, speed and oil viscosity.

Compared with conventional bearings, split bearing accessories are easier to detect. The top cover and bearing box of bearing pedestal can be removed quickly, and all bearing accessories can be inspected easily, which is convenient to participate in the planning work of maintenance stage.
